Among its key initiatives, the "Southern Sky Buddha Day" project is the Association’s centerpiece. It will build the world’s tallest Sakyamuni Buddha statue in Tasmania, Australia—198 meters tall with a 58-meter pedestal. Upon completion, this landmark will attract global Buddhists and cultural enthusiasts. Supporting it will be Buddhist cultural events: grand ceremonies, academic forums, meditation workshops—all to spread Buddhist essence and boost cross-cultural understanding.
